NAME: TABA SAMA

Arunachal always wakes up enjoying the first rays of sun. Today it is blessed with the rays of the brightest Star – Taba Sama.
Sama, the pride of Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 Itanagar has created ripples in the field during the opening match of OORJA CAPF Under – 19 Football Talent Hunt Tournament 2017 which is organizing by North East Frontier, ITBP in Rajiv Gandhi Stadium and Sports Complex Chimpu from 1st May 2017 to 11th May 2017. The aim of this tournament to identify and spot new talent in football.
She is a daughter of Late Mr. Taba Gelo, A technical engineer and Taba Yaki, a peon in All India Radio. Agony, afflictions and discomforts in her personal life never lowered her spirits. She never let her personal life get messed with her passion.
To track her previous sports records, taekwondo is her sport, and she has created marvels in it. In the year 2015-16, she brought laurels to her school. She won a gold medal in KVS Regional sports meet and a bronze medal in KVS national sports meet. She was excited when she won a cash award of Rs. 5000/-, little knowing that she would be a sensation of the state very soon.
There is something intriguing about Sama. She lit up everywhere she walked. Radiance is magnetizing and that radiance is relevant in her eyes. Always cheerful, self disciplined and a dignified princess, molded her passion in the school playground playing with the boys football team. An inspiration, her physical education teacher, Dr. Saleem Ahmed- would linger always behind her in all her success.
She has her signature moves which le her fans look at her with awe and admiration. She, a lone figure scored 6 goals in favour of her team against ITBP School, Aalo in opening match of OORJA CAPF Under- 19 Football Talent Hunt Tournament. The dignitaries and officials of state sports department present there instantly selected her for the State Football team from the game now she will play in National’s to be held in Orissa in coming days. It is a incredible pleasure watching her in the field and successful opening of OORJA CAPF U-19 Football Talent Hunt Tournament in true sense.
Let this young aspirant be strengthened and be filled up with full of vigour for her new ventures. Today we feel proud that she is part the state team. History one day would come down in favour of this little Messi- Taba Sama.
She is a bundle of joy to the Arunachalees- when we don’t write her or describe her, instead just watch her in the field.
