Ganapathi K won the silver medal at the national championship at Jaipur with his personal best timing of 1:21:51 seconds.He was enrolled in the Madras Regimental Centre in March 2008 in the sports quota and later joined ASI in 2015 as an elite athlete. Ganapathi has to his credit two more silver medals-one in Federation Cup at Patiala in 2014 and the other in the Athletics Championship in Chennai.
