Kendriya Vidyalaya Vikas Puri made a modest beginning from a humble initiative in 1988 in tents up to class V in 4.5 acres of land. Kendriya Vidyalaya Vikas Puri is civil sector school situated in Village Hastal in west Delhi District in state of Delhi.
In the beginning, it had only First Shift with the strength of students.
Since then, the school has grown into a beautiful 4-storeyed building with lush green sprawling grassy grounds, Eco gardens, and bio-park. It caters to the needs of 2053 students in I shift running in 3 sections up to class II, 4 sections up to class X and 6 sections in XI & XII with 3 sections for Science, 2 sections for Commerce & 1 section for Humanities streams.
