About Us

The Department of Youth Services and Sports was created during 1982-83 with an objective of involving youth in the task of National re-construction and to harness their energy towards eradication of social evils. About 40% of the population consists of youth who need ample opportunity for self-expression, self-development and cultural attainment enabling them to assume social and civic responsibility. To become socially useful, functionally effective and economically well being, the Department is providing requisite institution and infrastructural facilities to these youth in its various programs. The main aim/of the Department is to make the youth a powerful instrument in effecting social, cultural and economic changes and to channelize their energies, idealism and aspirations towards building up a strong and modern India.

He also knows as best raider of Telgu Titan Team and he also won Gold medal in 4th Asian Junior Kabaddi Championship.Today, he is the Chief Guest of Oorja U-19 Football Talent Hunt Tournament -2017 1st phase. Sh. R. S. Shekhawat, Dy. Inspector General, CTC. SSB. Sapri presented him a memento on this occasion and also invited him to deliver the speech for new growing football player. Mr. Vishal Bhardwaj said that he has started his game in the 8th stranded at school. Thereafter, i took training in the SAI Hostel Bilaspur under the guidance of Sushil Sir. Today, I became a good player and play for India and also said that all of you have became a good national and international player if you work hard daily about your game. He said, i want to give one suggestion in free 'never use drug to won the game' because it weaken the our health as well as out society. Sh. Anurag Thakur, MP is the Chief Guest of Closing Ceremony of Oorja CAPFs U-19 Football Talent Hunt Tournament. He saw the Boys Final Football Match at Khad Stadium,UNA(HP). He played a Ranji Trophy Match against J&K in November 2000. He has assisted in the creation of International Level Cricket Stadium at Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. He is a member of Loksabha from Hamirpur in Himachal Pradesh in India. He is the son Prem Kumar Dhumal, the former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh. He is the third time MP. Member of 14th, 15th, & 16th Loksabha. He was first elected to Loksabha in May 2008 in a by poll as a candidate of BJP. He was elected as the President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India in May 2016. On 29 July 2016 he became the first serving BJP Member of Parliament to become a regular Commissioned Officer in the Territorial Army.

My name is Sourav Kumar S/o Sh. Shamsher Singh Village - Khadd, Tehsil - Una, Distt. - Una (Himachal Pradesh). I am 17 Years old and belongs to very poor family. We are four brothers and sisters in the family. My father is a farmer. I started playing football at the age of nine years. In world football players I like most Lionel Messi a legend and star footballer and I follow him in my game. I played national game under - 14 football tournament played at Kolkata and lead Himachal Pradesh team. I am very thankful to Govt. of India and Sashastra Seema Bal Sapri to organised Oorja - 2017 CAPF's Football Talent Hunt Tournament because of this I played in such type of tournament. At present I am participating in U-19 Himachal Pradesh football team and taking training/coaching at CTC SSB Sapri (HP). At here all kinds of facilities like coaching, training, living, arrangement of food, boarding and lodging are of high level. Once again I am highly thankful to Government of India and Sashastra Seema Bal to organised such type of tournament and appeal to Government of India that such type of tournament may kindly be played time to time in future also which results a footballer belongs from poor family participate in these tournaments.
