Youth Affairs & Sports Department, Govt. of Tripura has attached top priority to recruit the National Medal winners. 2 nos. such sports women have been recruited in the year 2012 in Youth Affairs & Sports Department. This year 204 nos. of sports person have been recruited as Physical Instructor as a part of employment drive in favour of the sports person. Apart from Youth Affairs & Sports Department, other Departments like Education, Home Department, PWD as well as CRPF, BSF, Paramilitary, Railway Department etc. are giving priority to employment for the sports person so that youth of this state are motivated to participate in the games/sports in large number
“OORJA CAPFs” Under 19 Football Talent Hunt Tournament for boys and girls is being organised nation wide, covering all the states and UTs in India as a talent identification mission and the same is recognized by Ministry of youth affairs and sports, Govt. Of India.
